What's the difference between APA and MLA? ↓
APA is used mainly in the social sciences and puts the publish date right after the author's name. MLA is used mainly in the humanities and puts the page title right after the author's name, with the date placed near the end of the citation.
What if I don't know the author? ↓
Leave the author field blank — the citation will start with the page title instead, which is standard practice in both styles when no author is listed.
